Advanced Crafting - Smocking!
In an age long ago (not that long), before the world was blessed with elastic, there was smocking.
Smocking is a style of embroidery but mostly it was sewing done in a way that bunches fabric beautifully to give it "stretch" before the invention of elastic and spandex. This was especially helpful on cuffs, necklines, waists and so on - as well as manipulating fabric to give it texture and dimension.
Come to the library to learn 1 smocking technique to create a headband to take home!
