Would you like to diversify your reading? Burke Centre is starting a book club with just that in mind! 

For February, in honor of Black History Month, we'll discuss Ninth Ward, by Jewell Parker Rhodes.

This award-winning novel is set in New Orleans' Ninth Ward in the days leading up to Hurricane Katrina. 

Please read the book prior to our meeting and be ready to talk about it with others! 

Kids ages 8 and up only, please, as the reading will be too challenging, and too mature, for younger readers.
