Book Rebels: A Teen Book Club

Book Rebels: A Teen Book Club

In Book Rebels, we read books that have been banned, challenged, censored, or protested around the world, as well as books that focus on freedom of expression. We discuss why the books were challenged and other related issues.

For December, we're reading Stamped: Racism, Antiracism, and You by Jason Reynolds & Ibram X. Kendi, which was the second most frequently challenged book in America in 2020. We'll also be snacking on delicious Crumbl cookies!

Open to teens ages 12-18. No registration necessary.
