All Access Book Club
After Tova Sullivan’s husband died, she began working the night shift cleaning at the Sowell Bay Aquarium. Tova becomes acquainted with curmudgeonly Marcellus, a giant Pacific octopus living at the aquarium. Marcellus knows more than anyone can imagine but wouldn’t dream of lifting one of his eight arms for his human captors--until he forms a remarkable friendship with Tova. Contains some strong language.
The All-Access Book Club meets on the first Thursday of every month at 11:00 a.m. via conference call. We read a variety of books, wonder at the author's ability to so successfully (or not) manipulate our feelings, and have an engaging conversation. Titles selected are available in the talking books and FCPL collection in various formats. Do not miss out on this opportunity to share your love of books with others throughout the county.
To join the discussion: Call 703-324-1800 or the toll-free number, 1-877-862-8112; At the prompt, enter the code 389887.
