Burke Historical Society Presents: Oakton, VA During the American Civil War Years

Burke Historical Society Presents: Oakton, VA During the American Civil War Years

Burke Historical Society Lecture Series.

Presentation by Jim Lewis
Oakton, known as Flint Hill during the American Civil War, was a small
village surrounded by a number of quiet farms. As sleepy as it might appear,
and still does today, its citizenry had to endure much angst much throughout
the war years. And, it didn’t matter which side of the conflict one supported.
Please consider joining us as we journey through those tumultuous years.

This program is appropriate for ages 13 & Up
