Behavioral Health Literacy: Befriending Your Nervous System to Develop Deeper Emotional Maturity (In-Person)
This is one of three mental health literacy seminars led by Shabnam Curtis, certified integral life coach. Parenting, caregiving, having a full-time job, managing finances, and keeping up with social connections successfully requires a lot of self-care and self-awareness. In this series, Ms. Curtis will discuss the skills necessary to live more in harmony and manage our daily stress through learning more about our bodies and emotions.
This particular workshop focuses on behavioral health literacy, which is the connection between your behavior and the health of your mind, body, and spirit. It is the way your habits affect your mental and physical health and wellness.
The workshop style is a mix of lecture, short practices, reflection, and sharing experiences with the class.
This class will be held in two formats, in-person and virtual. Attendees may go to whichever format they prefer. The content will be identical.
You may register for the in-person session on July 8th at Reston Regional Library on this page.
Click here to register for the virtual session on July 29th.
Both formats will be from 2:00pm - 3:00pm.
